Excellent metal repair. This guy has seen it all. He knows how to make parts work that were never intended to be on the same car. You are lucky to find someone like him. Thanks for a great video.

How did this 12~ min video seem to pass by in 2-3 minutes? Absolutely fascinating stuff. Thank you Larry for allowing us to come along on this restoration journey. Unbelievably interesting.

Stunning. What an absolute work of art. Glad to see craftsmen are still around, taking pride in their trade and hopefully passing along skills to new generations.

It's hard to find a car channel that's Fun, but also Professional. Great job!
Maybe the next detailing video should be on cleaning the headliner of the car. kind of goes with this video haha

This is one of the best YouTube channels out there. Larry and Make Rain Prod. create some of the most entertaining and thorough videos on this site. If engine building was part of this channel, it'd be damn near perfect.

I know you probably considered it but whilst you had the roof off I'd had a rollcage fabricated and tied into the a/ b/ c pillars and welded to the floor for rigidity

That is incredible and a unbelievable amount of hours for prep and execution. Frank is a dying talent in today's world he has a gift to restore what man and mother nature destroys. I`m sure you have spent a good amount of money for your passion much as people do for GUNS, DOLLS, PAINTINGS EXT. Enjoy your car sir and beat the brakes off it you deserve it.

9:10 - Larry, for Frank to be able to match the original shape with a mere panel hammer is insane. I have no words to describe such skills. The only guy I know who could do this works at a repair shop in Oklahoma. My dad went to him for ANYTHING: bent doors, dents in the hood. The guy could work miracles with any car even something like a 1990 Jeep Cherokee. He had AMAZING eyes. We once took my Jeep to him for an inspection. It was 8:45 at night and a light drizzle was constantly annoying me. We stepped out of the car and the first words out of his mouth: "Um, you here because of the dent on the fender?" My dad was shocked. We were visiting because of a dent on the OTHER side of the car. I had to borrow a Maglite and shine it directly on the fender. Yep, there was a small dent there but I had to stand and look at it with my face pressed against the side of the door panel to see it! And he saw it without the flashlight! The guy was probably from another planet! I think he's retired by now.

It's rare you come across videos on YouTube that you wish were longer. This one I didn't want to end. You don't get this level of a behind-the-scenes look at this kind of work anywhere, and on a classic Porsche no less. Brilliant work Larry thank you for bringing us all along.
