As a lifeguard, we would rather save someone who is not drowning than not save someone who is. Also it is a common misconception that lifeguards jump off their posts to save someone because if we were to jump then the water would ripple and if they had a spinel injury then jumping would make it worse also it takes one minute and about 40 seconds for someone to died if not saved from the water and compression are started just a little fun fact and that guy would be fired in LESS then a second if he was seen on his phone reply cool fact if you read this to the end 10 likes and i will give some more fun facts
