I think what also makes this scene so great, apart from the 20 years it took to get Jackman in a proper Wolverine costume, is the fact that he physically reaches and pulls the mask on rather than it materializing onto his head and face like we've seen with so many other characters. Legitimately don't care that the mask isn't seen hanging off his neck like a hood because Rule of Cool applies here.
