[Cross-examination, Part 2] Melody Farris' son Scott Farris testified that his family kept a number of guns in the home, sometimes tucked in beds and behind couches, during his mother's murder trial.

Sounds to me like she wanted him back on the property in order to implicate him, and thats why she claimed the horses were out and he had to come home.

The Defense Attorney is trying to get a rise out of Scott, but, Scott is too smart for him; and, he comes off as totally honest!

So Martha, the mom of the lover Rusty, reported that a 38 revolver was missing from her house . The defendant went to Martha’s house several times and was told by Martha where the guns were located in the house . One 38 was missing .

SCOTT IS TELLING THE TRUTH MOTHERS FACE SAYS IT....SHE HAD A VERY NERVOUS DEMEANOUR WITH NEIGHBOUR ON THE STAND

*A lot of jovial joking and laughter at this trial. Maybe I'm too sensitive but I think it is inappropriate. The judge is yawning, slurping coffee and stretching - and witnesses and lawyers behave like they're coworkers chatting by the water cooler.*

Michael, Scott is innocent since a guilty man would have all questions sewed up as to the shower; and, those bullets and credit card would have been removed before a search! I believe Melody tried to set Scott up by releasing the horses so he would have had to come home! The way she tried to implicate Gary for leaving the pasture gate open on Tuesday night then letting the goats out the next day is suspicious like she was trying to set Scott up! I don't like the Defense Attorney! He likes to act so clumsy and folksy; but, then, he strikes like a Cobra!

Defense counsel said in their opening statement that Gary wasn’t shot in the house. She shot him at the burn pile. When you hear all the recorded conversations with Melody, and interviews of her, and how much she lies, it’s completely understandable that Law Enforcement, who evaluated all evidence, arrested and charged her, not her son. Given who his mother is, I get why he suspected her right away. He should have gotten his own defense attorney, in hindsight, but I think all the kids were in shock. And who would think a mother was evil enough to accuse her son for a murder she committed? She wanted Rusty, he had another girlfriend, and she didn’t want to lose him. Didn’t want a divorce because she wouldn’t have received as much miney. Gary was a smart attorney who had a brief, “kind of” affair many years ago. She’s was carrying on a long-term affair, publicly humiliating her husband at daughter’s wedding. They both cheated, but really not comparable. If there was more evidence that Scott did it, they would have charged him. Can’t wait for Martha Jane’s testimony about her stolen gun.
