How to Get to Heaven? Answer: Grace. But we HAVE to cooperate with that grace. And how we do is by living the virtues. Among all the virtues, what are the most important? Hear Fr. My husband, a cradle protestant, has been quietly watching as I find my way back to the Catholic Church. We have some serious "knots" in our family and I told him about Fr Chris's presentation of Our Lady Undoer of knots and he agreed to watch it with me, and to pray this Novena together. This might be the beginning of his own path to the Church.

Thank you Father Chris for all your wonderful teachings, you seem to have been born for a time such as this. I am watching and learning so much from all of your past videos.

I was a cradle Catholic who attended Catholic school but eventually turned away. Many decades later I became an Evangelical Protestant but, after seeing so much deception there, I am now returning to my roots. Yes, deception can be found in any church, including Catholic, but the true roots of the Church will not deceive, which are the basis of your teachings and others at Divine Mercy. Fr. I'm also grateful for Fr. Bount, Fr. Ripperger, and other conservative laity and clergy whose conservative voices are being heard as well.

During all these years away from Catholicism I held fast to my private devotion to the Blessed Mother. Your teachings have helped bring me back to my Catholic faith, the original faith I loved so much before Vatican 2. Until then I thought I wanted to become a nun (as other young Catholic girls might have during this time) but, in my early teens, when the Church was stripped of what seemed like everything sacred, I began to question that if so much of the beloved Church tradition could be stripped away in the blink of an eye, then was any of it real? Did the Pope or the nuns and priests I grew up around, ever believe any of it? How do you throw away something you supposedly believed in? My parish fully, and immediately, embraced the new rules. It was a confusing time. The statues of our saints were removed from our church. Medals, personal statues and wall hangings and other representations of our devotions were no longer for sale and we were instructed we could no longer pray to the saints for help. The music and the litergy changed overnight. My mother, who sang in the choir, lost interest in the Church after the choir was disbanded (it's sad that this was all that held her to the Church) but his was the beginning of the end of our family attending church together. Everyone in my family eventually away from the Church. I seem to be the only one, still living, returning to it.

However, I am not saying Vatican 2 was responsible for the dark path I eventually went down. Ultimately that's on me. I was a teen so most of this was due to rebellion and lack of a spiritual anchor in a very disfunctional family, which is probably true for most dysfunctional families.

A suggestion for a teaching might be how to come back to the Church. Where do we start? Confession seems obvious, but do we need to anything else before we can receive Communion?

And what can we do if we failed to baptize our children in the Church who are now grown, having never been given any spiritual roots, as I had been given myself, to help lead them to the Trinity and the most Blessed Mother at some point in their lives? They don't even know the Hail Mary prayer.

I saw your teaching on how to bring your loved ones back to the Church, but what if they were never taught about the Church to begin? And how can we repent of such an omission of denying our children even their most basic instructions or prayers in the faith? I am personally responsible for failing my children in the most disgraceful, and profound, way. 😢 I can receive God's forgiveness but how do we forgive ourselves?

Father Chris, I have to pause this video momentarily to share something with you: I came home from Mass and after prayers, to make lunch and grabbed my iPad thinking, so what shall I watch while I chop veggies-true crime, psychology, news…or hmmm, I know I have been in church for a couple of hours but maybe something spiritual? I felt like watching something mindless but gentle shame sent me to reconsider and I found your recent video and as soon as I heard your smiling voice and opening prayer I sighed: “Yess, this is home.”
Never am I ever disappointed in your instruction. Thank you.

Thank you Fr. Chris.
You have been missed. I pray that you come back every week. You were to me the light that brought me back to Faith during the dark years of Covid. You are air in the forest with your words of truth. God made a greater good from all this evil. I pray for you and all priests to hold fast to the Faith

Father Chris, I am commenting on your talk about the levels of heaven five months ago. I am 72 years old and I have always remembered the teachings of the Sisters in the Order of St. Francis - that Jesus told us that His Father's house has many rooms and that our heaven, if we are worthy, will be a home based on our acts on earth. Thank you for your dissertation, so many have never heard this and that each person's heaven is based on the graces we have been given in our lives and the acts of love we have performed.

Thanks Fr Chris for today’s teaching.
Praise The Lord.
My children are not always doing the right things but I have surrendered them to God and love them dearly and also let them know the good and the bad things they do. Jesus I trust in You. Amen.
God bless us always .

Fr. Chris, my mom passed away a year and a half. She cried so much for my brother who has been addicted to drugs and alcohol for the last 26 years. I pray everyday for him and your words that Jesus will not take for granted her tears filled my heart with hope. Thank you so much!

Fr. Chris, how great is your topic today touching the very core of our being : Most Important Virtues To Get to Heaven. More or less, we know these virtues in our catechism but wasn’t explain so brilliantly as to conscientiously live this in our daily lives. We understand well now the importance to practice them and to grow in the virtues where we are yet so weak. With a childlike attitude, we can humbly approach Mother Mary to help us in our spiritual journey that we’re not alone to get to Jesus. Our Catholic Church is flooded with so many abundant treasures and that we must cooperate and say like St. Therese: “I want them all.” Thank you, Fr. Chris, for sharing the overflowing knowledge you have in your seminary class. We must remind ourselves all the time to change in the way we think, speak and act by living the important virtues for the salvation of our souls for eternity.

Thank you, Fr Chris Alar, , I do depend on you and the true teaching you provide, with all the things that are out there, Divine Mercy, is where I am going to spend my time learning and promoting. I have been overwhelmed with the amount of videos and I need to get things down to a daily basis routine. Sr Faustina, pray for us. And I will be going straight to your site, as too many use you for click bait. ❤❤❤
