People I met and saw her live say that when she dropped the note in the chorus of the song "I Know ..." it was AMAZING and so powerful that it made you want to cry. For me one of the best singers of all time. Voice, interpretation, feeling, class and a wonderful way of transmitting. The great vocal training is noticeable. The only one who was on par with Aretha Franklin in the 60's.
