B8.5 owner 2+ years here 2014 model 120k miles
-absolute recommend
-Significantly expensive to own for average person; Be aware of what you're getting into
-Easily best value German car in existence right now
-great sound system if used with a 10 inch or larger sub and Bang and olufsen option
-Exhaust doesn't necessarily sound the best espeically for a German car but you can hear a supercharger so do you really care
-fast as ass
-Fast. As. ass. I'm running 3.7 0-60 off a 1000 dollar tune and that's it
-expect a ~26-34k dollar rough estimate of a commitment for this car overall
-looks brand new
-sport differential is an absolute must option
-rather easy to mod in many different ways but expensive to.
-nobody knows what you have
-Exellent handling, Braking AND speed characteristics if fully loaded, can't speak on non sport diff cars
-you will contend with low level supercars
-overall honest rating is a 8/10 with points deducted for reliability and cost.
- It is NOT unreliable---but if you fail to do preventative maintenance and regular oil change (sub 9k mile) it will be a problem.
-Change exhausts immediately if stock or risk cat meltage.
