MOST ECONOMICAL WATER DEIONIZER ON EARTH

Using a water deionizer for auto detailing offers several benefits that improve the quality and efficiency of the detailing process. Are the higher priced, higher end water better looking water deionizer kits? Yes but this comes in a great price point and is a great value. For those that want the high end versions I have listed those alternatives below but the results will be the same 0-ppm Water.
I also am expecting people to say that this is a very small water deionizer. It is but the filter medium does the same work regardless of the canister size. The only consideration with a small DI system is that there will be resin changes more frequently. The cost to operate will be the same. This unit has the same amount of DI resin media as most other common auto detailing portable kits and in some cases it has quite a bit more. It claims 500 gallons as long as you have a starting point below 200-ppm TDS. This is a big claim and results will vary based on your water quality.

Spot-Free Finish: Deionized water is free from minerals and impurities that typically cause water spots. When you wash a car with regular water, the minerals can leave spots and streaks as the water dries. Deionized water prevents this, resulting in a spot-free, streak-free finish without the need for additional wiping or drying.
Better Cleaning: Deionized water enhances the effectiveness of soaps and cleaning agents. Without the presence of minerals, the cleaning solutions can work more effectively, providing a deeper and more thorough clean.
Protective Coatings: When applying protective coatings like wax, sealants, or ceramic coatings, using deionized water ensures that there are no contaminants that can interfere with the bonding process. This leads to better adhesion and longer-lasting protection.
Efficiency and Time-Saving: Since deionized water reduces the need for additional wiping to remove water spots, it saves time during the detailing process. This can be especially beneficial for professional detailers looking to maximize their efficiency.
Avoiding Water-Related Damage: Minerals in regular water can cause etching and damage to the paint over time. Deionized water minimizes this risk, helping to preserve the integrity and appearance of the vehicle’s paint.
Safe for All Surfaces: Deionized water is safe for all vehicle surfaces, including paint, glass, and chrome. It doesn’t leave behind any residues that could potentially harm these surfaces.
Environmental Benefits: By reducing the need for chemical cleaners to remove water spots and residues, using deionized water can also be more environmentally friendly.
In summary, a water deionizer is a valuable tool in auto detailing for achieving a high-quality, professional finish with less effort and greater efficiency.

Jeremy, for a 3/8 hose 100 feet long, it contains .574 gallons.

20 feet of 3/4 pipe holds .46 gallons

I decided to spend the money on the Adams standard with bypass. It's so nice using DI water for the rinse. I have been foaming my truck and rinsing it just to knock the pollen and dust off.

Absolutely have to have this in AZ. I started with simple chuck but it didn’t last too long before it broke so I moved to the CR spotless DI-20 and it’s been working great

A $100 Ro/Di aquarium filter into a cheap RV water tank for pure 0 ppm water is cheapest. Why people don’t know this is insane. Why a company doesn’t make an Ro/di kit is mind blowing. Oh wait, they want to sell you 10lbs of virgin mix bed resin every year.

Thank you so much for showing us this budget spot free rinse.
I bought the tank and set it up and it works just like you said it would. zero TDS
I love not having to dry my car!

Buying distilled water at a buck a gallon is still the most affordable spotless rinse option. Just hook it up to a Ryobi cordless pressure washer.
And if you have a dehumidifier you're making distilled water for free

Thanks again for the review. I got one of these on cyber Monday for $129. I got an inline tds meter as well to measure the water in & out of the tank. My garden hose currently measures ~260ppm

I received one of these as a father's day gift...my water is 133ppm according to my TDS...down to 1ppm with the deionzer...thanks for the video...I never would have considered something like this...hopefully with water that reads 133ppm the resin will last a long time..

I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work. A comparison between the H&G, the On the Go Standard & Waterdrop would be nice to see.

Great video Jeremy. Out here i live in the country and we have hard water. Was going to get a CR Spotless and went with the Bigboi instead. Hoping it works great for the price, haha

Great video! I have the dual bed On-the-Go system. I like the size of that of that one, very compact.

Thanks for the review! Just curious....have you measured the water tds coming out of the pressure washer on your final rinse? I've heard that some don't work well using a pressure washer because water flow is too fast through the resin.
