Mother, 4 children among 7 killed in McHenry County crash

A man was seriously injured in a deadly wrong-way crash that killed his wife, four children and two others on an interstate in McHenry County.

This whole thing is so extremely sad. I wish we would hear some news from the other 13-year-old's family, who was also killed in the accident, as well as an update on the only survivor, the dad/husband.

I've been saying this for years. THERE NEEDS TO BE FLASHING LIGHTS THAT ARE ACTIVATED WHEN A VEHICLE IS TRAVELING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION ONCE THEY TURN ONTO THE RAMP TO ENTER THE HIGHWAY.

So tragic. I feel so bad for the surviving family members. But littering rubbers and plastics isn’t how anyone should be celebrated and remembered, put up a statue or a bench with a tree in a park. Make the world better than we left it.
