I will stay with OxygenOS 11 as long as I can. The clean design and minimalistic feel of OxygenOS was always my main reason for choosing a OnePlus phone. The integration with ColorOS was really not a good idea and I think the negative comments under this video strengthen this statement.

I used to choose Oxygen OS because it remained as close to stock as possible, while putting their own little tweak on it to make it almost unique but at the same time close to the original, which is pretty remarkable tbh. It is really hard to find any good comments here. Situation is very clear to all of us i think.
Oxygen OS was already perfect, only if you added material you theme on quick settings and notification, that would have been awesome. Really sad to see my most liked phone brand (OnePlus of course not Oppo😅) falling down.

The only reason I ever considered a OnePlus phone for many years, was because of the huge software appeal that it had over others, I always liked Oppo phones, but as soon as I glanced at their software, I immediately became uninterested and left!

I really was hoping the OnePlus would be a kind of a brand like Apple. Not in terms of valuation but in terms of unique and well built products. Now it's becoming like any other brand in the market.

I've been a huge fan of OnePlus mainly due to its cool os. I was still in love with it after oxygen os 11 even when people were complaining about it. But things have changed now. We would've bought oppo if we wanted color os and not OnePlus. I'm just forced to use my 7T now. I will update my phone to oxygen os 12 when time comes because I don't wanna make my investment go wasted and that will be it. I am looking forward to get out of this OnePlus mess and to never look back again. Samsung/Google is going to be my next and those will be the only reliable Android brands ever. Period.

OxygenOS was THE reason to get a OnePlus. This is basically ColorOE. Oppo and OnePlus are getting to similar. Although I recently bought a new OnePlus I probably won't get one in the future.
