My first period was so bad, I was 14 in eighth grade like a day before Christmas break I went to the bathroom and I could see it without wiping.. weird reason I was heavy my first period, and this was at 5:30 am getting ready for school, screamed for mom because I thought something horrible was happening to me. I told my mom I couldn’t go because I was having really harsh cramps, I was told to go anyway..
Another embarrassing thing is that when I wanted to try and wear tampons I was 16 and I was in Florida for a campus tour with my dad, but I was having trouble, so my dad looked up a video on YouTube that showed me a diagram. Usually girls don’t talk to their dad about this but my dad is very understanding.
