Hit Every Club Longer By Swinging Slower (Let me explain)

Ever wondered how great golfers hit the golf ball longer with what seems to be a slower more effortless golf swing? In this golf video Danny Maude reveals how you can learn to hit all your golf clubs longer by swinging slower.

Effortless power in the golf swing isn't about swinging harder; it's about swinging smarter. Good gofers achieve remarkable distances with what appears to be a slower, smoother golf swing. The secret lies in reaching a specific position in the golf downswing, characterised by a 45-degree angle between the club shaft and the hands. This allows for a more natural rotation through impact, leading to increased distance with less effort.

FREE TRAINING TO IMPROVE YOUR GAME

ABOUT DANNY
-----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!

I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.

Be prepared though. If it's a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble

I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

This golf lesson provides a couple of wonderful drills to help you hit your driver straight. If you are a beginner golfer and are looking for some golf driver tips that are simple and easy to do then you are going to love this.

I will show you the golf swing slow motion so that you can see what you need to do to improve.

We look at 3 things:

1. How to stop slicing your driver
2. How to swing more in to out or how to swing more inside out
3, How to get the correct impact position with driver

Danny, I played 18 last week, but on back 9 I started to do just this (by coincidence), keeping club head outside hands, lead arm as straight and for as long as possible whilst staying centred. The difference was amazing from wedges up to 5 wood. It is great to watch this video and instead of saying “I must try that”, I can say “I’ve tried this and can promise you it works”….excellent teaching as usual !

That is so helpful! At age 82 I'm still learning, and your help is invaluable. Thanks.

As someone with a bad back, high swing speed, and a violent swing, I have scoured YouTube for years trying to find something that works for me to have a more relaxed swing without sacrificing distance. Your explanation of the forearm rotation to square the face is a light bulb moment for me, I believe. I can’t wait to try this out. Thank you

Another top notch video Danny. I've been fortunate enough to have been a scratch golfer most of my adult life, and this movement is the one which causes me, and many other players the most difficulty. When I go 'off the boil', my 'go to fix' is that first movement away from the ball. When I get tired, I have a tendency to roll my wrists slightly, and this causes the problems you demonstrate so clearly. Simple things tend to work in life, and that's why I enjoy your videos so much. You have the knack of simplifying things which many other coaches make overly complex. Great stuff

Brilliant video Danny, I have never heard a way of getting the club on plane and squaring the club face described and demonstrated so well. Thank you

The golf courses around here (Michigan) have just opened, I'm going out this week to try and incorporate some of your recent lessons in real life. Can't wait.
Also, would like to thank you for not constantly hawking training aids in your lessons, unlike so many others on their You Tube channel. Its refreshing not to feel like you're watching an infomercial. Keep up the good work!

Of the many golf instructional videos on YouTube yours are by far the best. I used to be a fairly good player, a single-digit handicap for most of my golfing life. But now that I’m 75 my skills are diminishing. But your reminders of how to make a good swing are fantastic. Thx 4 your help👍

This video along with your Pete Cowen video completely changed my swing. I visualize pushing the ball straight back and the razor fence when setting up for every swing. This has really helped me get my hands in the right position throughout the swing. Thank you for the great videos.

Hi Danny,
I started golf a year ago and watched a zillion of golf posts. This one is a game changer. No need to think over dozen of things through te different fazes of the swing; key is the Y take away and the right arm under the left arm during the down swing. The bonus is that a lot of things (pushing on left foto, tilting of body, squaring the face, ...) come kind of automatically!! In adition, this drill works as well for hybrids/woods. Thank you so much!

Wow and wow!! At 56, I've been noticing a loss of distance lately. A part of me refuses to believe that it's an age thing and so I've tried to understand the problem more from a technical perspective.

Today, I had a 20 minute wait for a bay at our local range. As I waited, I watched this video and did the drills. Off 8.6, I have a reasonable handle on my swing, but then I started hitting balls.

Good lord, my 52 degree was previously 75m, 80 at best. Today I put it on the 116m green.

My 9i was close to 105, today I was hitting it 120+.

My 7i, usually 130ish - today I put it past the 145 green. Etc.

Driver was amazing too.

Getting in the right position and generating power with the body, not a set of flapping chicken wings seems to be the solution to my problem!!

Anyway - HUGE thank you Danny. This has done so much more than give me more repeatable, reliable distance. It has given me some confidence that I'm not quite yet "past it"! Cheers and yippeee mate, from Sydney - Dave

What an eye-opening lesson! This truly does feel natural, this is the secret to hitting a ball on the ground. I have been doing it ALL wrong for years of lessons, money down the drain. Thanks for your wisdom and for sharing it with all of us golfer searching for a swing. Bruce

Thanks! This video really opened my eyes. I was swinging too much with my arms. Now it's more body, more rotation, more wrist release. Very repeatable! I'm a long time subscriber. Great work!😊
