The surge and clicking sound was the sound of the computer reading your key. So you didn't really have to pull out the fuse. Sometimes it'll take a few seconds to a few minutes for the computer to read the key before you have to take any fuses out or disconnect the battery

Helped on my 97 deville….never owned a car that’s had every single warning light on the dash…what a major pos….can’t believe they weren’t all recalled or destroyed or how Cadillac is actually still in business…..anyway it worked so thank you 🙏🏼

Somehow this worked for me my car had a a misfire cylinder 4 and open fuel circuit same cylinder tried this and my check engine light went away and no more shaking hopefully it reset everything cause a new ecm computer isn’t cheap 😩😭 thanks for uploading this video helped me a lot

I have a 05 cts and I’ve done this multiple times changed the fuses and still nothing the car starts n runs just doesn’t show gauges comment if u know how to fix it

I just purchased an 05 2 days ago & i got the anti theft, tc & engine lights on with no gauges showing but she drives fine. I also notice there is a misfire when I'm in park, but performance wise i can't tell because it does ride good. So hopefully this help me out.

It worked for me on my 2005 Cadillac SRX. Took the fuse out and also put the key in the drivers door and turned it open and closed, just for the hell of it and she fired right up.

I have a 2009 CTS 3.6. They are 3 ECM fuses, two under the hood and one in the trunk. Did your process for all three separately, but didn't work. Sad, I know.
