What if Pokemon Gym Leaders got REPLACED! - Johto

Today we're replacing every Gym Leader from Johto with a top trainer class to see if we can spice up this Pokemon challenge!

It's hilarious they could have technically had a more unique dark gym than a ghost one with tyranatar houndoom and umbreon compared to the gengar line and mistrivus.

The only thing i would change is giving the first gym a Dunsparce instead of the Sentret (i love Sentret but a single line for the entire gym just won't do), make the Skier girl have a Jynx for her ace and put Sneasel on Dewgong's place, and also make something similar to the Fire Breather Elite Four member a Thyplosion has his ace and swap either Rapidash or Ninetales for a Magcargo.

Absolutely loved hearing about each of these imaginary gym leaders, they certainly would have helped make Johto feel like more than just a Kanto side piece.

Literally the only three gyms from the original Johto I liked were Whitney's normal (most challenging gym in the game, that miltank certainly kept me from being complacent), Pryce's ice gym (kind of liked the sliding puzzle, certainly less obnoxious than teleport pads), and of course the steel leader Jasmine (needing to do a full on side quest just to get the right to fight her). I just keep forgetting various things about the other five, at best remembering type and maybe if I needed to do something extra to gain the badge there.

You could think of a unique gimmick of each gym also. Like double. Revesered type effectiveness, no items etc, whatever fits the trainer class

Water gym: chinechou corsola mantine octillery. All unique and would be perfect for Johto

Johto needed better gyms especially how many johto mons they didn't use like skarmory and noctowl.

I admit, I love Clay and Grady. 100species is such a cool goal, fitting for the setting and a gym leader version of a pokefan. And Grady with the dark type as a police investigator is such a wonderful way of flipping expectations.
