I'm 45 years old. I brought my guitar 5 years ago (self-gift for my 40th Birthday), and never used it. Then, I watched the Netflix documentary of Shawn Mendes, as he started age 13 posting vines in Youtube, an inspiration to learn & practice something we want. Now, I started some tutorials for Strings EBGDAE and Frets, finger exercises between Fret 1 to 4 using High E... painful, but sure I will love the results, learned my first chord for batman theme 22 11 00 11...Then, watching your videos, learned E major and A major... fantastic, need to practice daily. It will be amazing one of these days to bring my guitar to my friends house and play some music and sing. Thanks Andy.

Thank you for getting straight to the point with your lessons. I was showing my finance who's learning two chord, 3 chord ECT. Songs, and some of the people that have posted videos on youtube, . Woahhhh and a big LOL. Saying don't strum like this or hold your arm like this. Unlike you if you can't do it you'll find another way. Strait to the point and "simple" without giving a person a complex in the middle of their lesson .Thanks for the refreshing watch. Quick and to the point without the BS how much better their strumming and picking way methods are above and beyond, (LOL) you will learn that it is this way or No Way!( Lol.) How can you teach somebody how to play their own style. I've been playing music since I was four. Piano and guitar. I play by ear. And it's to each their own! TNXS AGAIN MARTY. For keeping it real. And in tune. I really can't stop laughing at some of those other guys(Lol)🤘
