"Oscar-winning actor and rapper Will Smith stopped mid-performance at his concert on Thursday night in San Diego to shut down online speculation that linked him to embattled music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Throwback photos of the two at industry events have resurfaced on social media, fueling rumors about their connection amidst serious allegations against Combs.

Performing at the Observatory North Park theater, Smith interrupted his set to address the viral chatter, much of which he said had gone too far."
