This is how tutorial videos should be done, getting to the damn point right away. Thanks for your video.

"Don't quote me on that if you die", that line killed me 😂

I’ve never had anyone able to diagnose this issue. Everyone kept saying “not able to reproduce sound”. Thank you for this video!

Thank you for getting to the point of the problem by the demo. That is the sound I'm getting on my suv.

Thanks, this video was very helpful, my sway bar link bushes were bad, I replaced both links and my vehicle stopped making the noise, the two links costed me $26.00 and the labor was done for free for a good friend, a co-worker, I am very blessed, my car runs great.., Thanks

wow. thank you for this. i am a mechanic. i still look to youtube to learn & better my skill. i believe the best way to do this is through the wisdom & experience of someone more knowledgeable than me.

my point to that is - i am on youtube this evening hoping to find someone who’s diagnosed & solved the tricky problem i’m dealing with & then i wound up on sway bar link videos somehow & noteably, none of them started off with any mention of what a bad link may sound like or helpful tips to diagnose one.
sway bar link failures are one of the tricker noises to immediately recognize- at least for me, & esp a novice DIYer.

so thank you for thinking of this crucial step in the process. this is the most helpful of all.

Literally couldn’t figure out for a week why my car was making the noise and couldn’t find any vids that had the same problem and ofc after I diagnose and fix it myself I find this vid lmao

Out of all the videos online, when trying to record a sound your car makes when driving, never usually works out. Did a great job capturing the sound. Quick easy simple fix. About $15-$30 dollars to replace both on most cars.

"You're not going to die or anything like that". THis is comforting.

Hi Jyarf,
Just like to say "THANK YOU" for taking the time to put this video on the Internet.  I've been dogged for months with that rattle in my Holden Astra and was booked in to pay our local mechanic over $200 to repair what he diagnosed as a faulty tie rod causing the noise.  After seeing your video I bought a new sway bar link for $40 and fitted it myself today in less than an hour.  Problem solved!  Thanks again for being such a great help.

Thank you for videoing the actual sound and not just trying to talk us through what your interpretation of the sound is.

I've had the same problem in my car for a couple of weeks now. Felt like the car was about to give way as i drive. Mechanic called it a Z-link instead so imagine how long it took me to find this video.

Thank you!!

My Golf sounded JUST like that for the longest time and it never dawned on me that hey, maybe I should have that sound diagnosed and fixed. Then one day, I was thankfully only a few blocks from home, because it broke. Quite the noisy drive home with literal sparks flying!🤦‍♂
