This deep fryer is perfect. It is not bigger than a regular 2-slice toaster and it doesn't need a lot of oil to work. I was a little hesitant because I have a big family and it seemed too small to fit a lot of food in there (and it was, with the basket) but I gave it a try without the frying basket and it went great. The basket certainly takes up a lot of space. When you use the fryer without it, you cook a lot of food at once.

It has a dial to regulate the temperature (although the max temperature is not too hot - you would be slow-frying). The cable has a safety function - it is magnetic. If someone moves the fryer and pulls the cable, the cable would get unplugged immediately.
