Best Deep Fryer Review

We fried through over 30 pounds of chicken and french fries to determine that the Cuisinart - CDF-200 is the best deep fryer.

Our picks for the best deep fryer:

When purchasing a deep fryer, you should consider the fryer’s basket size, oil drainage capabilities, safety guards, ease of cleaning, and design.

We tested the fryers by measuring how long it took them to heat the oil to our desired temperature. We also measured how accurate each fryer’s thermostat was. We tested the wattage power of each machine, and we also tested how easy each one was to use and clean.

Love your video format. Cuts to the point and names the best one up front.

I really enjoyed this review. I was stuck on the T Fal, I now see that the cuisineart is best for me.

I am looking for a new Deep Fryer; and have watched your video, but notice that it is a couple years old (2017). I found that the buyer ratings for the T-Fal EZ clean has dropped since I started looking. The problem they mention for the Cuisinart is that it over heats and stops working or the magnetic cord keeps falling off. Did you notice any of that in your test trials? Also, the fryer with a better "Buyer rating" on one website is the Farberware 4L fryer. Have to tested the Farberware deep fryer?

I would’ve liked to seen the power cord and our plugs in or is it magnetic

The larger the capacity of the fryer the higher the watts required to keep it at temp as well as more oil required to fill the fry bucket. So the trade-off is: If you want a fryer that can fry a greater amount of food at one time, then choose a larger fryer. But if you will be mostly frying smaller amounts then then choose a smaller fryer.

The Cuisenart may be these folks choice but I would choose the T-Fal... smaller on the counter, easier to clean and the oil can be filtered within the fryer and stored (in it's own unique compartment) in your fridge (way, way, less mess).

But if you only want to fry a few small items such as shrimp or a few fries the Fry Daddy is an excellent choice.

The point is that there is NO BEST FRYER that can out-perform over all ranges. Choose your fryer according to your wants.

I have the tefal. and the only thing that bothers me is the max level of oil it allows. its to shallow really so I have to use more than the recommended max level of oil to ensure full coverege. it does not feel like a good idea so Im looking for a new one hence why im here.

So the machine regulates the oil itself? I don't have to adjust the heat to keep a consistent temperature?

the 3rd 'fry daddy' cylinder shaped one looks made to be knocked over.
