The law can a tough concept when the constitution is the supreme law of the country and our leaders ignore it. Focusing on loving others as yourself is hard when people are focused only on self. Thank God for the word and gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us. Thanks for sharing this message.

Good explanation Pastor...how to live physically in this world but not be entrenched in its ways.
The signs of these end times are now so obvious...strangely it seems we Christians are the only ones seeing it.

It's critically important to distinguish between the ways of this world, and the world itself. God will ultimately redeem this world so that in one sense, this is our home. It's been tainted and marred by sin but won't always be.

I always wondered about the teaching to obey the authorities, with respect to governments which are tyrannical. My understanding is that we are to obey the authorities provided that our obedience to them does not contravene God’s instruction for our lives.
