I’m at one week with my Stelo. It has produced some surprises. Like a glass of wine did not cause a spike when I anticipated it would. And my breakfast shake did cause a spike. So the whole thing is fascinating to find out how I am reacting in real time.

Their are still a lot of type 1 without insurance. This is a great option. Still better then pricking your fingers 15 plus times a day .

wrong: it check every 7 mins to 14 mins, and yes it has alerts like spikes and you can mark the spike.

I'm really curious about the price?

This product works great for me as I just found out I'm pretty diabetic, this way I can monitor it and it works great! Just wish they had the direct to watch option like the G7

I’m in my second one, had a glitch in it. It wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. I finally got it to connect. Great way of watching how certain foods spike my BS. Game changer.

This is so cool- non diabetics can now use a CGM without impacting the market and Rx availability for diabetics.

This would be fabulous for people with adrenal issues where blood sugars are an issue. Many people with adrenal issues do not have diabetes but have hypoglycemia and many insurances will not pay for a CGM even though you would think that would be more cost effective than multiple hospital stays and ER visits due to illness and adrenal issues causing an over abundance or insulin.

I am insulin resistant so I ordered 2 to see if I liked them. The first one I had to remove after 4 days as the needle felt like it was ripping my muscle. The second one only lasted a day. I bumped into something at work and it pulled off. I guess I’m not meant to wear one. I will not purchase again if this is my luck. It’s too bad because I could use this tool but I cannot throw money away on a fixed income. BTW this cost about $10 more than having another brand when I used my insurance. At least I was able to make that one last 14 days.

Insurance WILL NOT cover Stelo currently. So OTC option will set you back 100’s per month. This is not great news for all of us that have insurance plans.

It actually captures a reading ever 5 minutes, you can see if you sync it to Apple Health. This is only useful, though, if you do something with the data because AH has even worse visualization and summaries, I think. As a software developer, I downloaded the XML data I have collected (not diabetic here, mainly wanting to know more about my response to food and stress), and I will create my own program for my own analysis.

It was announced that this would be released this summer, so it WAS expected now

It updates every 15 minutes. But it records every 5. So, every 15 minutes, you get 3 readings.

Every 15 min? My blood sugar could go up 50pts without been noticed. Need one scan every minute

I purchased this product. It does not stay on. It needs something else to make it stay on your body. It only lasted 6 days for me. The app information can only be viewed for 24 hours. You must write information down in a journal to have for your records. Or another app and you would still have to input that info into the app.

⚠️ Just hope you don't have any issues with it, because they have a total lack of customer support! Stelo can't test levels over 250mg/dl, you can't view testing history prior to 24 hrs ago, and it won't work with latest phone operating systems. They don't share any of that on their website. Their ordering system and cancellation policies are absurd, and you will NEVER be able to chat with a human via phone or messenger.
