It's not a blaccent, it's Southern. I hate it when people accuse country folk of trying to sound black. This is how we talk.

I’m so happy to see 99% of the comments, white or black, knocking this ridiculous racial divide take. People are finally getting tired of everything having to be black or white. There’s hope and light at the end of the tunnel lesss

As far as the black accent goes, it’s possible that he is unconsciously picking it up from teammates he hangs out with. It is a well known phenomenon that if one spends enough time with people, especially with friends, one begins to adopt their mannerisms and speech patterns.

I usually agree with Amala but not this time. He's just celebrating.

Um southern people do this. This isn’t a “blaccent”. As a southern, I hear people in the south talk like this all the time. WTH?

Blackccent?
I’ve heard Hillbillies talk just like that.

It gives me the ick when people immediately pull the race card and accuse him of using a 'blackcent' when he is just a southern boy. Sorry if you think there are no white people in the south.

What?! This is one of the oddest things I heard from you. He sounds normal.
It's like when people tell me I sound white and not native because I wasn't raised on a reserve so I developed speech like my peers did.
"You're not like those kinda natives"

Seriously girl, I hope you change your tune on this.
Cause if he's talking "black" why do you not talk like that?! 😤

You know what gives me the ick? Pushing unnecessary Pfizer jabs.

That is no different from accusing you of trying to sound white because you enunciate your words. People speak differently all over the country. If it were me saying "Why is Amala trying to talk like a white woman?" I would be called racist, but I guess you have extra cards you can play huh?
Love those true colors!

This is not black or white — it is just someone who won the Super Bowl and is wildly excited about it. He is expressing his feelings — so what !

The Travis Kelce voice he is using isn't a black voice he's imitating a wrestlers voice from WWE that's how they talk.

I didn't hear a "blaccent", that's just the way he talks. It sounded more southern to me.

It's not that deep, let the man be happy. I'm South African and even I can identify the Southern accent. Even if wasn't who cares, let him be happy

People using the slang term "ick" gives me the ick.
