theres literally proof. there was a book written by Tommy (previous ninjago writer i believe?) and this is literally what was written there:

All of these ships are literally sibling relationships in my books. Even BakuDeku is sibling. Bakugo the definition of older brother that will hurt you but will give the world to protect you when you need it and beat up anyone else who badmouths you.

i dont see the issue with bakudeku, yes i agree with the greenflame n tangiyuu one but i dont see the problem with the bakudeku one, if you shipped them during middle school stay 6 ft away. During middle school it would be "victim x bully" but bakugou apologised about it, and after the war arc things between them have started getting better, im personally not a fan of izuocha (i prefer toga x ochako). But i do understand your point on it.

Honestly, I don’t see the big issue with BakuDeku. If you ship them in middle school or maybe the first few seasons while they’re at UA then yes, you’re weird because they were still bully and victim. But after that it’s really not bad because they got on better terms and by this current point in the anime they have already reconciled during the war and stuff. So, I understand not liking the ship for personal reasons as I personally just don’t jive with Deku and Ochaku (personally I prefer Toga and Ochaku given their recent stuff), but there’s also no reason to shit on people for liking BakuDeku because the majority of those people aren’t shipping them for Bully x Victim, they’re shipping their current selves who aren’t on those terms anymore. All these other ships are ick though for sure.

I like Bakudeku- and i understand about why people don't like it, i ship them in an platonic form!, for me, bakugo is sorry for what he did do, izuku apologised him, and end of the history, so everything is okay! Still what bakugo did do was horrible and not nice- so don't think i'm justifing that-

1. Lloyd x ANYONE. (Except Akita or smthin but that would also be weird since time works differently there and she could be much older)
