Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat on Wednesday (August 7, 2024) appealed against her disqualification from the 50kg category Olympic finals in the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), demanding that she be awarded a joint silver medal after being forced out for being 100gm overweight in the morning weigh-in. Vinesh was disqualified after being found 100gm overweight during the morning weigh-in.

Allegedly, she is incompetent to compete in 53kg and she was artificially manipulating her weight to compete in 50kg.
She got caught, and got disqualified.
Stop being a crybaby and play a victim card.

She who is a natural 53 Kg competed in the 50 Kg cattogory, on which she would get Gold, for had she competed, in the 53 Kg cateogory she would not have got any medals, The authories planned for her Gold some time back & selected a "scapegoat" in the 53 Kg catogory, thus making her able to compete in the 5o Kg catogory, for the 2 opponents she defeated were in their natural 50 Kg In short fighting in a 50 kg category with a 53kg Strength, Rules are meant to compliment not taken advantage off, as in her case, apt at sit Inn protests,

We can have sympathy for her situation, but what I can't understand I could see interesting debate on TV even blaming modi, bjp, doctor and coaches when everyone conveniently skipi the fact that she was suppose to be in 53kg category, then we had better wrestler in our squad for the 53kg category, now she decided to compete for 50kg category at the Olympics village and try to drop close to 3kg in 3 days 😮, I am not sure is this role model, champion, courage and inspiration for youngster's, ?!!!!
Rules are rules even if it is 50grms.
