Health insurance companies are making record profits off of taxpayers. At the same time, they're restricting care and cutting off providers. Rep. Katie Porter sat down with insurance whistleblower Wendell Potter to dig into how the industry takes advantage of patients and taxpayers.

Porter is fighting back against Big Insurance. She introduced legislation, the Patients Before Profits Act, to crack down on insurers that restrict care during a pandemic. She is also pushing to hold corporations accountable for defrauding taxpayers through Medicare.
