I say get rid of property tax . It's unconstitutional. It's leasing your property from the gov . You will never own it . A sales tax should provide for schools a tax of choice buy or don't. Kirk's argument is silly . If you don't want to pay income tax don't work . Just stupid

I say get rid of all income taxes. Any sales tax should be required to be spent on the specific item tax (gasoline tax can only be used on roads/bridges/parking lots). Property taxes should be increased but only those who pay property tax should have the right to vote. Sick of people who collect entitlements voting in politicians who take my money and give to them.

I’d say, if the people or country owns the land, why don’t we just pay property tax and never have to pay the property. No one owns property or piece of land, we all lease it from the country.

I used to be on the fence with property tax, but I am fully against it. It’s a nickel and dime you tactic. You have a 10% sales tax, a 1-12% state income tax, a property tax (% depends on state)10-37% federal income tax, numerous taxes on a multitude of energy and utilities. At the end of the day your paycheck belongs to the government. I wonder how many transactions it takes for a dollar to go back to the government. Flat tax, no income bracket, no deductions. You make money you pay taxes.
