A contour line is a line drawn on a topographic map to indicate ground elevation or depression. A contour interval is a vertical distance or difference in elevation between contour lines. Index contours are bold or thicker lines that appear at every fifth contour line. A digital elevation model (DEM) is a 3D computer graphics representation of elevation data to represent terrain, commonly of a planet, moon, or asteroid. one of the methods to generate DEM is contour lines that in this video has been covered to produce a digital elevation model. All of the procedure has been performed in Google Earth. Google Earth is a computer program that renders a 3D representation of Earth-based primarily on satellite imagery. if you have any questions about the video, you can ask in the comment section.

Good video but you need the Spatial Analyst extension to do the IDW geoprocessing in order to generate the raster.
