It is false that a wire splice cannot be completely sealed from the elements. It absolutely can be through various methods.

its well and good to replace the cable. The 2015 Ford Focus Ecoboost [vin: WF04XXGCCFE07929] 🙄has a cable that ha no intermediate connectors. It is directly wired to the ECU cables and the only way to replace the accident damaged senor is to cut and rejoin the cables... then what? Help!

solder liquid tape and heat shrink works fine, especially if that dumb little sensor is 80 bucks a wheel, I wouldn't try this on an AWD of course, but some older rig why the hell not.
