Z1 best in nissan market. My Xterra has survived due to these guys and girls. Nissan for life!

Really enjoy your content. There's so much stuff for domestic trucks and Tacomas but not much love for Nissan owners. Appreciate your work.

I have not changed my spark plugs ever. I have 226879 miles on my 2010 Pro4x. I don't have any power loss that i can physically feel. I dont have a rough idle or any misfires. So lets ship my truck down to the lab and run the dyno and see what happens.

What’s the numbers for a VQ40?

I bought some for my Frontier 4.0 but have not installed them yet.

My truck has 181k miles and is on what I believe to be the original coils. This video is making me very tempted to dump more money into it. Haha.

I really want to upgrade. I have to get the exhaust done first then I will see about these. I'm trying to follow the big gains like the volant CAI, Banks exhaust, these coils, and hopefully a tune on an old 08 with 210k miles original engine. Currently have the Nismo R tune CAI but want to switch to the Volant after watching the other videos. Stock otherwise.

Excellent breakdown. I’ve been on the fence about getting these but I thing this would be a nice addition to my Xterra when it comes time to change the plugs

so was that hp and torque just bringing potentially lost power back to the older motor or an additional gain?

I just ordered a set of the hi-energy coils for my 370Z and will be installing them soon, with a fresh set of NGK Ruthenium HX plugs.

In looking at the coil options for the 370Z; OEM, Hitachi and Z1 hi-energy, I was wondering what the difference was between the OEM set and the Hitachi. I know that Hitachi is the OEM supplier to Nissan for this part and so it's hard for me to see why the OEM coils are nearly twice as expensive as the Hitachi coils. Is it greed on Nissan's part or is it that Hitachi is making these coils for Nissan to a higher specification with better quality components?

I know that the OEM coils for the Z are regarded as some of the best in the industry and so it is comforting for me to hear from Spencer that Z1's coils are of at least the same quality as Nissan's.

Spencer, how much of a difference is there between the OEM Denso plugs vs the Value Advantage plugs? Also, how much a difference do the upgraded coils make with a truck @ 50k?

How do these fair against the R35 coil conversion on a 250z DE (De the world)

Love your videos. I'm just a lil' ol R50 pathfinder owner. I have an 03 with the VQ35DE. Any suggestions on what coil/plug combo i should use?

I’m curious about the durability of these. The increased energy and spark duration will generate more heat in the coils and cylinder head. How long can these coils last compared to OEM spec Denso or NGK? Should colder spark plugs be used to offset the increased heat?
