The "eq" knob is a mid sweep. It adds high mids or low mids in a sweep. Max out the level and cut the gain and run it into the high gain channel of a high gain amp and it tightens up the low end and adds a mid spike. Most metal guys use some sort of boost

I have been lookin to get one for some time. but i just got a OCD and a D&M drive i really like more and there is only so much room on a board . some day : )
