WordPress Sitemap | Submit XML Sitemap to Google Search Console (GSC)

UPDATE: Although it only took a day or two for Google to process the sitemap, my website still wasn't indexed by Google. It turns out, a plugin I had installed when I first setup the site had placed a noindex tag. Shockingly, that plugin was IndexMeNow. So after uninstalling IndexMeNow and submitting my homepage url to Google for indexing, they immediately accepted the request!
