Blooming heck!!! I am going to have nightmares about being buried in dirt from those camera on the jib shots. Especially where the dirt completely blocks out the view and goes dark. The earlier camera angle looking back from the side of the hole was pretty interesting as well. With the bucket nearer the camera than the body of the excavator, the wide angle perspective worked in favour of making the bucket look as big as it actually is. I guess when you think about it, and how big that hole got and in such a short time, we are talking about serious machinery.

Top off first like that then work your way down until you could cast your bucket
Out all the way in a Dragline but Mostly to keep the Drag Cable from rubbing the

@letsdig18 Why build up the low corner of the pad, rather than digging out the high corner? I have a similar (but much smaller) version of this project I am going to work on in the spring, and I get the feeling there must be a reason. I had planned on digging out the high side, and now I am wondering if that's no bueno. Thank you in advance for any advice.
