YouTube only counts your view count 12 months from whatever day it is. Not based on calendar year and it does not reset. Keep up the hard work people :)

QUESTION: once you get 4K watch hours AND monetization, how important is it that you stay above 4K watch hours thereafter? If you dip below 4K hours at any point after getting monetization, do they take it away?
