love these videos! Have you ever considered reviewing the album Outlandos D’Amour by The Police? It’s personally one of my favorites.

I've always felt Joplin's vocals were ahead of their time and her untimely death combined with the dated vibe has meant her artistry has been pretty much consigned to history. I find that such a shame and wonder what would have become of her legacy if she had lived longer.
I've listen to a fair amount of 60s music but it was an era I didn't feel any connection with generally. It was interesting to hear the roots of modern music and certain tracks still reside in my mental playing, especially from the later part of the decade, but overall it was an education I think I'm done with. Our ears and tastes do change with age and influence so perhaps I'll revisit some of it again one day.
