I love that this version of Raph is still short tempered, but rarely, if ever, takes it out on his brothers. Unlike past versions.

"Well look where the rulebook landed us!" I love how Omar Benson Miller delivered that line, this is probably the best role he has voiced and while this isn't my number 1 favorite Raph it's still one of the best versions of him ever.

1:48 This scene is so funny to me because Raph is literally so used to Leo being a lying little rat (affectionate) and generally being a pain to deal with, that he doesn’t even register Leo actually confessing to something.

When Raph thought ‘I wasn’t sure if they knew what a week was.’ I was like ‘I could see you thinking that of Leo and Mikey, but Donnie too? Really?!’ Which is probably how Donnie would react if he heard that thought.

Whilst 2012 might be the best Raphael, I have to say I prefer this Raph. His frustrations and anger come from his anxieties as the older brother who probably had to be team dad at points at the age of 15, he’s more of an “in the moment” thinker than Leo and he’s an absolutely adorable lug.

I honestly love that he can switch between grizzly bear and teddy bear on a dime, the bottom line of both being his undying loyalty and care

1:40 pretty much the majority of his character development in the series honestly. And it took two Dark Legend of his family's past to finally stop thinking of his brothers like that and see how tall they can stand on their own and be proud to stand along side them as well.
