he was ready to freely play after the 'Final Cut.' About Face imo is the precursor to 'Momentary Lapse' and 'Division Bell.'

A co-worker gave me one of his extra tickets to that Face' at the Greek Amphitheater in Berkley, CA. I had been a Floyd fan since 1975, but because I only had their albums on cassette were ordered thru some record club, and DIDN'T contain lner notes....I didn't know the names of ANY of the group members. I don't think I even knew WHO he was, until he started playing a bunch of PF tunes in the 2nd half of the Since then, I've seen the post-Waters Floyd 5 other times. I just always thought it was funny, that I'd attend a Gilmour concert, and NOT even be aware of who the dude was.
