Are Daedric Quests Worth it in Skyrim?

So, I've started and finished a few of the Daedric quests in Skyrim, and I can say, they feel a lot different than Oblivion's ones.

The Daedric quests in Skyrim are very cool to me. They don't just feel like typical quests. Even though in the end you really only get a good item, you still get unique looking items that are really strong. You also get to visit some unique looking places. Take, for instance, getting Wabbajack from Sheogorath. You get to go in a weird world that Sheogorath created, rather than some dull cave.

Kinda... The only one i like is Clavicus Viles, Molag Bals, and Meridias quests are the fun, and longest quests.

Oblivions Daedric Quests took more effort, in my opinion. You should try a Daedric Artifacts build.

The artifacts for the quests are very situational and build dependant in Skyrim, I find. Three that I find essential for me, Ebony Blade, Mace of Molag Bal and Hircine's Quest (Which you can get both the Ring of Hircine AND Saviour's Hide). On that note, I love the adventure side of all the Daedric quests in Skyrim, compared to Oblivion.

Personally I think that the quests in this game are worth it for the quest as well as the item in some cases. Think of the Ebony Blade or Mehrune’s Razor. In Oblivion the quests are fun but the items were always really powerful and interesting. I just think that in Skyrim you’re more likely to do the quest for the sake of it rather than for the item like in Oblivion. In general though, I would say that Oblivion generally had better items and quests.

The only daedric quest I do on a regular basis is the star of azura so I dont have to stock up on black soul gems, the items look interesting sure but the actual stats tend to be lackluster & the quests required to acquire said items tend to suck as well.

What Skyrim got right is the way you start/encounter the daedric quests. It’s so awesome how you can just stumble into an unnatural situation which turns out to be some daedric plot, I especially loved the Molag Bal opening! (won’t spoil it but it’s pretty cool :D)

Sanguine’s quest in Skyrim is definitely in my top 5 elder scrolls quests. I still remember the first time I played it, not knowing it was a daedric quest; oh the memories :)
