He told Sosa, straight to his face, exactly how he felt! He even told Sosa, eyeballs to eyeballs, that if Sosa didn't trust him, to make his move, right then and there...and right in the very HEART of Sosa's own property! That's true guts!

Almost 40 years old and still one of the best movies ever made.

Tony always tells the truth. Even when he lies.

This film really does demonstrate how good an actor Pacino is. Because how he managed to keep a straight face during a lot of these scenes is nothing short of amazing.

I like how it's clear Sosa is more powerful than Tony from beginning to end. And he's always calm, because he knows it.

RIP Paul Shenar (February 12, 1936 – October 11, 1989), aged 53
You will be remembered as a legend.

If you listen carefully, Tony’s respect for sosa changes when sosa begins to doubt Tony. He refers to sosa as “Mr. Sosa.” Then after he’s doubted, Tony says, “Hey, Sosa.” The Mr. is dropped and he tosses him the binoculars. That was Tony’s turning point. His demeanor and face changes at the very moment.

This scene is classic, even the dialogue. R.I.P to the late great Paul Shenar who played Alejandro Sosa.

What makes Tony such an amazing character is that his greatest strengths are also his greatest weaknesses. His boldness, his honesty, his fiery personality, his absolute and unwavering belief in himself.

From the start, Tony knew he had what it takes to excel in the most dangerous and deadly situations. All this made him a millionaire and drug kingpin.

It also led to his addiction to cocaine, his loveless marriage, and eventually his downfall and death.

Tony is a perfect example of what can happen when someone truly believes in themselves... for better and for worse.

I like Tony Montana's manly walk. "My balls and my word and I don't break them for nobody". Love that line.

Paul Shenar was so perfect for his role in this movie, Pacino was too but Shenar just had that presence and God like voice that exhibited his status as a drug lord in the film. One of the all time under rated actors in Hollywood history in my opinion. He died way too soon

One of the things I love about this scene is although the pressure gets turned up after finding out Omar is an informant, and Sosa starts asking about Franks judgement, Tony could’ve bad mouthed frank and cut him out. But he stood up for him and defended his judgement. I’d like to think that Sosa picked up on that

Perhaps the greatest phrase that EVERY man should live by: "All I have in this world are my balls, and my word.. and I don't break 'em for no one!" Best scene in the movie, one of the best in all films.

Sosa, like any drug exporter, still needs a market in the US . So he has to rely on Tony to develop that market, the only reason why Tony is still alive.
