Since he went to crumbl cookies that early in the morning, chances are he got leftover cookies from last night and they were placed in their work-in fridge. So the next day they can display the cookies and make new batches later on the day

The Crumbl store closest to me just opened on 4/29. I’ve never had a hard cold cookie only warm & soft. As many have said you probably got the leftovers that were stored over night in the freezer. I suggest you try another visit later in the day. By the way… while I was waiting in line to get my cookies the girl at the door said they came in at 5:30am to prepare for the day.
