As a IG-1 student, Need help, and thorough guidance! Please!

I have an issue with overthinking, and because obviously your O levels / igcse exams are some of the biggest you will face, I need guidance.

I'm currently in IG-1, studying in roots
(b-17 campus), which is a newly opened campus so the school itself isn't fully polished yet, but what I need to ask you is what do I do about this overthinking issue surrounded my studies?

When I search online for what other students are doing I see things like "past papers" and crash courses and stuff. I have understood how you get good marks, do academics and blah blah. But the thing is are academics neccarary? I'm not sure if there's any good ones around me; and it's all very furiating and brain numbing. I need to get good marks in my CIE exams and because of that I try to find the "perfect study routine" ect: and I often loose sleep over this. I know sounds dumb but yeah.

Because I feel like I'm worrying more than anyone about my routine; future exams, and mocks ect: but I'm also performing less than some of my other class mates who just don't care. People often say school isn't that important academies are important, or self study this, self study that; you get the point.


What do I do? Any guidance? I'm not dumb. Not at all. I just have this overthinking issue. I Can't sleep. And school reopens in 6 days because the winter holidays will end. School teachers teaching internal school exams. Online friends not caring about exams. And O level teachers online talking about
"may June-crash courses"

My cousin came over few weeks ago... Gave me a but of insight but still, the bigger picture of how to set up your day, not just for a few months before your CIE exams, but your whole 3 years are still missing. Alot alot more I can still say, bit if you read this much. Truly, means the world.

My exams will be next year and in 2027 I think. What do I do? Now start finding an academy? Just focus in school and self study? Because until I have this issue resolved around the planning of my studies im in deep water. Or maybe I'm not and it's just my overthinking.
Because I have been stuck in this cycle.
