I'm trying to get a scale bar in paper space to show over a map image I saved in model space but I cant seem to use this method to reference the two layers. Any suggestions?

Great info as always, but LAYERORDER should be standard in EVERY version of AutoCAD, because it's Autodesk's inept programming which causes the endless draw order issues in the first place and has done forever. Yet this being the case, still not adding it into every version immediately is just so 'Autodesk', isn't it?! They will NEVER provide what's needed for its users WHEN it's needed (see LISP in LT) unless it hits their bottom line, as it is now. Brutal selfish narrow-minded capitalism at it's absolute worst. Autodesk deserve nothing but our contempt.
