God's Plan for Israel (Part 2) Romans 11:11-24 (6.23.19) - Dr. Jordan N. Rogers
Показать описание
God has so graciously grafted many who are not ethnically Jewish into His covenant people. He has done this as a gracious demonstration of His mercy and desire to save people from every tribe, tongue, and nation. God’s plan for Israel includes the salvation of many Gentiles, and also many more Jews before the Second Coming of His Son Jesus and the Resurrection from the dead.
In Romans 11:11-24, The Apostle Paul gives two commands to those who are part of God’s people and are not ethnically Jewish. First, he explains that God’s plan for Israel includes the salvation of Gentiles. That is the time in history in which we live. However, there is coming a day, before the return of Jesus Christ, where amongst the Jewish people there is an awakening of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. In light of these great truths, Paul commands us to humbly remember that we were grafted into God’s people only by grace through faith. Also, we are to fearfully reverence God, who receives the faithful but rejects the unbelieving.
The following is a sermon from Romans 11:11-24 and below you will find the video recording and a sermon outline to help you follow along as you watch. I hope this study tool helps you grow in your love for the Lord Jesus and in your obedience to Him.
