The New Adam | Romans 5:12-19

Every human on earth has received the worst possible inheritance from Adam after his fall in the garden. This original sin is a spiritual infection that separates us from God, while highlighting man's desperate need for redemption. Listen as Pastor John contrasts the actions of Adam with the works of Jesus Christ, the Holy Son of God, who was sent to earth to unravel our vile sinful nature as the Father of the redeemed.

Accepting the gift of Jesus over and over, for the rest of my life. And I pray that I can help him save others. Thank you, John. For helping save me. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Merry Christmas everyone.

That point of the immediate rejection of Gods authority hierarchy is very good! Hadn’t thought of that before but oh so true.

My wife is currently miscarrying our daughter Noelle. I cannot tell you how badly I needed this encouragement and know the holy spirit inspired this sermon for me. God is perfect, and we approach him with open handed gladness - knowing that he gives and takes away, all the while remaining present, faithful, and loving. “We can trust him with our babies”. Thank you John.

Thank you for the great sermon pastor John. Very enlightening. Living like Jesus for a week is a very tall order, but as long as we try we will never fail. Prays Jesus’ name.

As always great sermon. I had to deal with the topic at 15:25, very hard time in my life to be sure, but thankfully I'm a believer and He took on my burdens so I could continue on.

Matthew 19:14 helped me a lot during that time and on that topic.

John, I have heard all of your sermons and this one tops them all. Great job and thank you! It was all there. Plus I learned more about the origin of my own name which was a cool bonus.

Thank you for this message. Me and my wife has suffered a couple miscarriages, and the last baby we had, was very very far along. This one made brought out some emotion in me. I don’t know if it’s grief or happiness over your message or both.

Sin is not counted where there is no law. Babies are not sinners.

Referring to the lady who had coffee spilled on her was a terrible example… McDonald’s was told multiple times stop serving coffee that hot and they did not listen, when that coffee was spilled on that elderly lady it led to severe burns which ultimately led to her death. On top of all that she just asked McDonald’s to cover the medical bills at first, when they refused she brought them to court and won the millions.

So if we believe children and babies will go to heaven, how do we not believe in an age of accountability? Wouldn’t that go hand in hand?

I appreciate your sermon. My only question or challenge is the Ezekiel verse you quoted when talking about replacing the heart of stone. I assume you are alluding to prefaith regeneration? I believe it is taken out of context for the time and events and people he is talking to in relation to the situation. Taking that verse and tieing it directly to "no one seeks God, no not one, " is misplaced. But, if you have further info, that would be appreciated. Thanks for your fervent sermon, pastor.
