Your videos are terrific. The drama adds to the entertainment value. I’m thinking of giving up my cable TV service because your videos are so good!

Ive been reading comments on your videos and so many people think you're a con artist who makes too much money. They have no idea how much work you actually put in. I own a painting and make $1, 500 per day in the summer and about $800 per day during the winter. Ive been painting for 15 years!! Ive put my work in and Im a really good painter and do very good work. It takes a very motivated hard working individual to be able to run a company like this, its work work work work work work work then play for 5 minutes then back to work. Great work and great videos buddy! You are worth every penny!

I wasn't sold on it until you said you get a parking spot with the $575, 000 box with a loft.

When I showed the video I made as I did the walk thru and the drama was heard in the background and what the "Boyfriend" was yelling at us(I had a helper with me) Great Video Handyman

"Gentrification" as a term has been around a hell of a lot longer than millennials. It was an issue when I was in college, and I'm older than you by a decade or two. In fact, it was a serious issue in my college town. Old, rundown brownstone tenements down by the train station would burn mysteriously, gutted completely but leaving their desirable facades, to be rebuilt into luxury condo housing; and that was just the most obvious sign of it. In the almost 35 years since it's changed from a working class/college town to a NYC bedroom community for young-middle aged professionals.

I love your channel. I have been in this business my whole life and i love watching your methods and pricing. People really don’t understand how much it costs to run one of theses businesses. You do a great job.

Funny, as soon as I noticed the Belfast sink in the background, the camera zoomed right in to it.

The lady tenant on lease can thank the weird boyfriend for a rent increase for opening his mouth if he wants to stay there from now on.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents, as I am a Property Manager in SoCal to 300+ properties, plus do repair work on the weekends for the properties.

The normal price range we get from vendors is around $95 an hour for on the job work. I charge around $80, but only pay myself $20. For our company that I do the maintenance under, insurance + car insurance + the programs we use + misc. items, makes the total hourly cost to the company, with my $20 /hr, to be around $35 - $40 an hour. BUT...obviously I am not working $80. Driving to and from the property is 1 hour unpaid, making multiple trips to home depot cannot be effectively charged, etc, etc. At $80 of on-the-job charge, I am actually very, very well priced considered I am skilled (somewhat), insured, and able to communicate with the Tenant(s) and more importantly, the Property Management company, effectively

The point being, that I agree with the video, to a degree. As a Property Manager, I don't care about the price. Yes, I want someone reasonably priced. But I care more about someone guaranteeing their work (30 day guarantee minimum), someone who if I call and need assistance then they are handling it, and someone I can trust to do the job right the first time. Too many headaches happen for us when vendors who mess up on small things, then the Owner / Tenant(s) are made and we have to resolve it.

If anyone is looking for business, I would recommend working with residential property management companies. Just in the last three months, we have had paid over $55, 000 in plumbing bills, and another $65, 000 in handyman bills. The only caveat to this? We only accept Net 30 terms since we pay the bills with rent income. But, it is a good option if you are looking for consistent work where you are only beholden to the Property Manager, not the Tenants. Easy to tell the Tenants when they want you to do more work, "I can't work on that. Need permission from the Property Manager.", and pass on responsibility for approval to us to get/give approval.

Anyway, my two cents. Always enjoy the videos on this channel and on the new one!

$2200 holy crap. I'm in southern Oregon and I have a studio that, while not as fancy as that but roughly a similar size, I pay $500 a month and that even includes water, sewer and garbage. But I guess when people can make good money, that rent isn't much of an issue
