I do concur that growing up working class wherever you are gave you (or used to give you) a street sense of what people were like. I remember very well when I was old enough to realise when another fella (because it almost always was another man) was prone to exaggeration - or bullshitting. Before that I might have been taken in. After I just either stopped listening or called them out to their faces.
It's a very bad character trait in a lot of men

Al Bundy for President. He could announce running from a Bowling Alley. He could wear a Football Jersey with # 24. The Campaign Bus could be a Yellow School Bus. He could pick his running mate from the center of Big Uns magazine. Maybe he is too young to run against Biden and Trump but it would be good to have a fresh set of eyes on today's problems.
