You could not be more obnoxious and irritating. For starters, the amount of respect you showed him was little to none! If you wanted to get ANYWHERE with a conversation, maybe try having some common decency. The fact that he was "new" to his job should not be relevant whatsoever. He approached you kindly and ready to help. You being offended from your previous encounter with the other deputy should not have affected your attitude and respect for the next. The entire situation could have went MUCH differently if you were polite, had a much better tone, and lost the attitude and rudeness. Better luck next time. :)

It’s incredible how many supposed “law” enforcement officers and deputies that have zero understanding of the laws. They’ve been operating on the good ole boy system for so long, that they have completely forgotten the basic principles of the job.

Amazing that cops have no problem scoping out your car, shining flashlights, asking invasive questions....but the moment you look at how your tax dollars are being spent they treat you like a criminal. Maybe instead of being worried that someone may want to harm the police you start behaving in a manner that would make citizens respect the police!
