I totally understand Lily! As a half Brazilian-Paraguayan, sometimes it is so hard to deal with "besos" (which is "beijos" in Portuguese btw), and even harder when you are a introvert that is not a fan of social events and things that involves physical touch... Like me 💜.

Anyway, I like so much Duolingo's short animations!!! Can't wait for the next videos. 😊

As a 16 year old teen with shyness and mild social anxiety, all I have to say is that Lily is _super_ relatable...I'm from Ethiopia, so doing the air kisses cheek to cheek 3 times for EACH person sucks whenever I'm going to already have nervousness going to the party, and all I want to do is find a quiet, isolated corner to be alone in, but I have to do the air kisses and hugging to EVERY DANG PERSON AT THE PARTY, and every party my family has includes at MINIMUM 20 I hate parties much....

As a Spaniard myself, I can understand Lily's pain. It's true what Zara says that you should let the other one take the initiative, but if the other one is expecting the same, the greeting can take like 2 to 3 seconds of awkwardness until you eventually shake hands
