Create a Local Administrator User Account in Windows 11

**UPDATE**
The Other users is now a standalone section and is not under the Family section.

Windows 11 allows you to create a local user account if you don't want to log into your computer with your Microsoft account. This way, the user settings are specific to this computer and not shared with your other Windows devices when you sign into them.

Once you create this local user, you can then make it a local administrator on your computer using another account that has administrative privileges on the computer.

Check out the writeup on the process here.

Which user account is more secure?
I dont want to enter password or PIN everytime I open any app, But I a afraid using all apps in Administrator User Account makes its easy for virus to infect files,

Is it possible to have LocalUser without Password or Credentials prompt amd only consent prompt?

Im not able to see the family and other options in my settings menu...
I had an administrator but I mistakenly deleted that windows account. I made a local account and then I realized I don't have an administrator. I went to settings and then accounts but was not able to see family and other users...

I tried to reset the PC or even tried to bypass the admin password but it didn't work so can you help me to get the family and other users back on the settings menu!
Yeah and also I can see the deleted account but when I click to change the account it takes me back to the local account which I made.

I would appreciate it if you could help me!

Why is it that all my data and folders are under the user name of an account I stopped using long ago, after factory resetting about 3 times, each with intentions of never using these previous accounts/emails again and just making 1 brand new fresh account/email with nothing tied to it. Under my group or user names it shows what I assumed was my current account called
(1) full control
(2)SYSTEM that seems to have full control as well, denied access for very few things like transferring files games movies to an portable hard drive and sometimes as little as just deleting a programs, apps, movies.
(3) Users (MyPCName/Users) without modify/write full control
(4) (Everyone) also without modify/write full control
And none of these accounts have special permissions checked

Thank you. Would I want to create this type of login so that MS can't track me, or what?

My Accounts > Family page doesn't have "Other users" (this video is 2 yrs old, no surprise), anyone know how to set up a local account otherwise? I just need to separate my laptop into 2 different uses, both are for myself but with a different desktop/file system for each "user" instance. I need one for work and the other for a hobby. Thanks.

I can't delete certain files. It says only an admin can do that. I set up an admin acct using your instructions but when I log in to it I can't see the files I want to delete! This is infuriating! Why did Microsoft do this? Makes no sense. I you buy their product or license it you should be able to do that.
