The intro is so intense. It's great. Let me summarize the history of Bolivia.
Bolivia has a deep history, starting with ancient civilizations like the Tiwanaku near Lake Titicaca.
In the 15th century, the Inca Empire took over the region and brought their culture and roads.
Then in the 1500s, the Spanish arrived and turned Bolivia into a colony, mainly to exploit silver from the Potosí mine.
Millions of Indigenous people and African slaves suffered under harsh colonial rule.
In 1809, the Bolivians began their fight for independence and finally gained it in 1825, naming the country after Simón Bolívar.
After that, Bolivia faced lots of political instability and lost land to neighboring countries — even its coastline.
A major revolution in 1952 brought land reform and more rights to Indigenous people.
In 2006, Evo Morales became the first Indigenous president, making big changes but also causing political tension.
He resigned in 2019 after protests, and democracy was restored with a new government in 2020.
Today, Bolivia is still navigating political challenges but remains culturally rich and resilient.

Lived in Santa Cruz, for two years 94-96 just went back last year for vacation it's a friendly country, people nice, they have 5 star restaurants in santa cruz, taxis are cheap to ride, the markets are fun to go to, it's a different world for sure, being from California it's a nice break to go there, my wife is there now visiting family in santa cruz, couldn't go this time.😢

You should film Santa Cruz, Beni, Cochabamba, where Steve Aoki went too and Sucre. Those are beautiful cities. Everytime people film they only show La Paz, like if the whole country looks like this. This city is a little dirty and to many people.
The other cities have beautiful things to see. Beni has a beautiful Amazon animals festival where they dress as animals and one where they dance with a amazon river boat, a little girl rides on top! They also have the beautiful pink dolphins. Santa Cruz is declared as a proud White Spanish ancestor city, even doe they can be very funny. 😂
