We promise, we aren't asking for much, Google! Here's our Pixel 7 wishlist, after having used the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro for 30 days.

Please give us a beautiful 6.7" FLAT display. That's all I've ever wanted. Unfortunately, as someone that is very adamant about having a glass screen protector on my phones, I really have strayed away from the Pixel lineup of phones for that reason. I just want manufacturers to go back to a flat display.

Still loves my Pixel 4.
Just made tricks on lengthening the battery from 4-5hrs with casual to average usage.
The size is super amazing.
Google didn't realize that alot of people likes 6" phones only.
If iPhones become android, I'd pick them over Pixel since their units are all trademark with pocketable sizes except the ProMax versions.
Google should retain their P6 design in the back, leave the curve screen, focus on regular screen design, and make them a bit smaller from 6"-6.2" only.

I fully agree. On all points. I'm comming from a history of pixel devices. I started with a pixel 2 then the pixel 3a. I just got a pixel 6 for a work phone. My first thought was it's unnecessarily big. I'm 6ft tall and I don't think my hands are especially small (about 5in from the tip of my thumb to the middle of my wrist, 7.5in middle finger tip to wrist) it's just uncomfortable and hard to use. My next thought was that the fingerprint scanner was slow and in the wrong place. with the traditional capacitive scanner on the back I could have my phone unlocked before it was out of my pocket. With my work phone and the under screen scanner it takes a conscious effort to unlock it. I do the bad thing and charge my phone over night so charging time isn't much of a concern but better charging times would be nice. I have never changed my work phone but starting at 60% it need 1hr 40 min to fully charge on a 65w laptop charger. The fact that they keep putting headphone jacks in the a-series shows that there's no reason not to include it. Recently cracked my 3a screen will probably get a 5a to replace it instead of a 6 now that I've tried it

Number 1 in my wishlist: all color variants should come in every storage configurations. You can't get kinda sunny in 256gb or 512gb

My Pixel 7 wishlist:
1. Less slippery body (like adding textured sides and frosted back glass).
2. Bring back the old rear fingerprint sensor (it wasn't broke, didn't need fixing, and I really miss it after having it on my last 3 phones).
3. Slightly smaller regular Pixel 7. The Pixel 3 and 5 were the perfect size, but I could live with something in between those and the 6. Maybe 6.2".

Yes... Leave the gimmicky curved glass to Samsung. The main reason why the 6pro is not as an upgrade for me. Sadly though thankfully I'm still on my 3XL but having no more future update support is having me look for a new phone.

My wishlist:
* No more regular and Pro, back to regular and XL - both Pro, only different sizes.
* Better fingerprint scanner
* No more curved display
* Uniform bezels all around
* Matte back (glass or otherwise)
* More consistency across different camera modules (e.g. 4K60 for all)
* Wider ultrawide camera module (i.e. 0.5x)
* Brighter display and LTPO
* Keep/better speakers

I think that Google should have 4 variants like the iPhone:

Pixel
Pixel XL
Pixel Ultra
Pixel Ultra XL

I do agree that the regular should be smaller. Also, I would like to see the regular Pixel have a tele photo lense with the regular lens and ultra wide. Then I would like to the Pixel Pro (or Ultra) have the same camera setup like the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

What's wrong with the charging, it's keeping your battery in good condition for long term

Pixel 7 should have Fast wireless charging that isn't proprietary and follows normal AND current Qi wireless changing standards.

you covered all the issues I have with the Pixel 6. I was so frustrated with the optical reader that I actually returned mine.

I exclusively use face unlock with my 4XL and will not buy another until it's an option.

A proper DSP audio engine for the phone that is system wide. The music-fx built in EQ app is horrendous and needs to go. It's been there since like Android 2.
2. Fingerprint scanner back on back of phone
3. Faster charging
4. Smaller size (Pixel 4A)
5. Bug free software especially on the new device it's released for. Android 12 runs better on my Pixel 4A vs my Pixel 6 Pro.
6. More storage options for all models. (If Apple already has 1TB storage, Google needs it also. Only reason I bought the Pixel 6 Pro)
7. Switch back to Snapdragon chips. (Better modem and connectivity and charged faster too).
8. Open up the USB-C to HDMI support. (Seriously quit disabling it by default without any work around when it's fully capable)
9. Overhaul the "Google Files" app. Let people decompress zip files, add better organization and function to it and the built-in music player that is within the files app, expand upon it and make a stand alone offline music app because YouTube music sucks for offline use.
